About Me

Welcome to Mom-ing 101. I'm Chelsea, the face behind this blog. As a mom of a beautiful baby boy, I am knee deep in the whirlwind of parenting; learning the joys, challenges, and everything in between that comes with raising a baby. My passion for motherhood and all things related to parenting has inspired me to create this space where we can come together as a community of moms to share experiences, offer support, and celebrate the magic of motherhood.

So to start, a little about me. Beyond the diaper changes and sleepless nights, I'm also a self-proclaimed queen of social awkwardness. I won't lie; I hesitated about starting a blog because I wondered if I'm even interesting enough. After considering it longer, I realized that I can't be the only person who feels this way. I am sure there are other people out there who can relate.

If you have ever accidentally waved back at strangers who are not waving at you, called somebody the wrong name, accidentally texted the wrong person, said "you too" when it doesn't apply or maybe said "I love you" at the end of the phone call to your boss, then you get it. My favorite, least favorite awkward thing is when I tell a story that I believe to be extremely funny only to find that nobody laughs.

Despite my frequent stumble into awkwardness, my passion for motherhood and all things parenting fuels this space. Here at Mom-ing 101, you'll find a variety of content covering topics such as pregnancy, newborn care, toddlerhood, family activities, DIY projects and more. From heartfelt stories and maybe comically embarrassing parenting moments, I'm here to provide a mix of laughter and valuable resources to fellow moms. So, whether you're a seasoned parent seeking fresh inspiration or a fellow socially awkward mom just trying to survive playdates without spilling the snacks, join me on this rollercoaster ride of motherhood. Let's laugh, learn, and celebrate the beautiful chaos together!

I believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting one another. Thank you for joining me on this adventure! I'm excited to connect with you, learn from each other, and celebrate the joy of motherhood together.

With love and gratitude, Chelsea
